ELUNA | Alma & Primo Enhancement Process

CCC ELUNA membership & Alma/Primo Enhancement Process Main LibGuide

3/20/24, 10:54 AM

Hello everyone,

Thank you to all the folks who participated in our internal poll.  With the poll closing last night, we have tabulated the votes, and have the following recommendations based on your feedback. Each institution has one person who can vote in the NERS Enhancement Cycle, and each institution gets 100 votes to apply for Alma enhancements, and 100 votes to apply for Primo enhancements.  The ELUNA Reps, Work Group Leads, and system as a whole, recommend the following:

Alma:

# of Votes to Cast

8734: Waive fines/fees in bulk by set

60 votes

9024: Accessibility indicators on package/collection-level records

20 votes

8918: Enable the ability to make an item missing that has a process type

20 votes

Primo:

# of Votes to Cast

9021: A better DEI Term Tool

50 votes

9019: Network Zone DEI Term Tool

30 votes

9020: Add a DEI Icon and/or information popup

20 votes

The green highlighted enhancement was submitted by one of our colleagues in the CCC system (way to go Alex!), and the yellow highlighted enhancements were all DEIAA focused.

Please vote in the ELUNA NERS Enhancement Cycle here: https://ners.igelu.org/index.php?action=login

Voting will end on March 29th, 2024—so please vote soon.

You can check who your institution’s voter is here: https://eluna40.wildapricot.org/

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Glenn, Ryan, or Trevor for assistance. You can see the recording of the Wednesday Webinar where we discuss the NERS process here.

We appreciate all the thoughtful work that everyone supplied in order to get us a set of enhancements that we can support as a group.

Thanks,
