The above zoom goes over one method of retrieving inventory data from both the institution zone. It focuses on counting individual mms IDs, a method that works for e-books, but may not work for e-serials and e-media. This is not designed to answer the question for any particular survey. If you want to share reports with the ability to edit with your library staff, you are free to place reports in your institution folder, which is nested under the Shared folder. You can also set up reports to share as an Analytics Object.
If you want to share reports with other CCC Libraries, you can place reports in the Shared/Community/Reports/Consortia/CACCL/_Collaborate folder.
Most data in Analytics is updated every night. You can see the time of the last nightly update by checking the footer of the Analytics Menu in Alma.
There are a few exceptions which are documented under the Subject Area documentation in Knowledge Center. If you are already building a report and want to quickly check, you can add the criteria called Data Updated as of to see the exact date the content was updated. For example, the Titles Subject Area is updated once a month, so it may be important to know.
Analytics has reports as well as some data visualization features. It is limited to data that comes from Alma, but there are lots of powerful ways to manipulate and display that data. This may be all you need.
Data Visualization is fairly new and has expanded data visualization capabilities. It also has the capacity to pull in external sets as well as data from Alma.
